There are two things I love in this world (actually, this is completely false. I love many things in this wonderful world we live in.) However, these two just happen to be a few of said lovely things. The first? Brunch. I love me a good brunch. One of the happiest struggles of a Saturday morning is to go sweet (gimme all dat french toast) or savory (eggs benny in my belly please). What a terrible problem to have. Add mimosas and coffee and you’ve got yourself quite the delightful morning if I do say so myself. I joined one my lovely friends Bretlyn in Ballard to try out Toast, a café that specializes in waffles and happiness. Not really happiness, but when they have S’MORES waffles on the menu, the happiness is kind of implied (also Ballard might hold the crown for the most adorable brunch and coffee spots in Seattle, but more on that to come in a later post).

The second thing? Online boutiques. I absolutely love discovering fun new shops (Instagram is seriously the best place to do this). Not only do you find unique pieces you likely aren’t going to find anywhere else, but I’m all about shopping small. Making your next fashion purchase from a small shop means you are actually supporting a real life person’s hopes and dreams. Hey, that sounds pretty good to me. Extra bonus points if they happen to be local. Extra extra bonus points if the owner happens to be a badass entrepreneur. During our weekend, worlds collided to bring my favorite aforementioned things together, and we brunched with one of the best online boutiques around. Enter: Rollick.

There is so much talent and creativity in the PNW, and Seattle based shop Rollick is no exception. Rollick is full of incredibly fun and stylish, pieces, which also happen to be perfect for brunchin’ your way through Saturday (or Sunday…or really any day that ends in y). Peruse some of our favorites below, and make your way over to Rollick to experience some of the most pun-worthy style slang you’ll every lay your eyes on.

With all that being said, I’m so excited to share the first post in a new series with y’all:

Lines I Love

The Lines I Love series will feature both up and coming and established brands that I can’t keep my hands off of, and want to share with you. Now let’s go get those mimosas…

Resting Brunch Face: i.e. every human on earth pre-caffeine

Aaaaand post caffeine. Oh Man, just look how much happiness that sweet little cup of joy brings. (Coffee should definitely be added to the list of favorite things on the planet above…)

Also, please take note of the solid advice on Bretlyn’s sassy tee. Better with Bubbly. Should probably be our life mantra…

Snag the Resting Brunch Face Tee here

Grab the Better with Bubbly Tee here!

Likely discussing some very serious topics, like how we could ransack that gorgeous chandelier without anyone taking notice (sidebar: not possible. Do not attempt this, no matter how many mimosas you’ve had…)

Also, I am loving bomber jackets. You can’t get away from them right now and that is a-ok with me. This pink one from Rollick was giving me serious Sandy vibes in the best way possible. I wanted to bust out into a (likely completely terrible) rendition of “Summer Nights.” Luckily for everyone around, I refrained. Unluckily for my husband, he may or may not have witnessed that musical disaster later…

Have any online boutiques you love? Share them with me here, (or over on Instagram). I’m always looking for new places to check out!

P.S. if you want to top off those sassy tee’s, below are a few of my favorite pieces to complete the breezy brunch look

Women’s Ripped High Waist Ankle Skinny Jeans • Topshop
Women’s Paige Legacy – Verdugo Step Hem Skinny Jeans • Paige
Women’s Paige Hoxton High Waist Ankle Peg Skinny Jeans •
